A Tailored Methodology

Every engagement begins with a confidential briefing to understand the nature of the matter, the organisational context, the individuals involved and the outcome you are seeking.
This will shape the terms of reference and the investigation plan.

Initial Scoping and Briefing

Structured interviews, document review and, where required, wider stakeholder engagement. All conducted with procedural fairness, cultural sensitivity and complete confidentiality. The Broadwood approach ensures that individuals can feel heard, regardless of the outcome.

Evidence Gathering

Evidence is analysed against the Terms of Reference, relevant legislation and organisational policy. Where ambiguity exists, it is acknowledged clearly. Findings will be based solely on what the evidence supports.

Analysis and Findings

A written report is produced to an agreed format - with findings and where appropriate, recommendations for action. Reports are written to withstand scrutiny at appropriate levels.
