Profile: Chris Charlton FCMI
Chris Charlton FCMI - founder of Broadwood Consulting LLC, has more than 20 years of senior HR and workforce leadership experience in the UK, Middle East and European Union across both commercial and government sectors, specialising in health.
His interim Gulf experience includes serving as Executive Director of Human Resources at Sidra Medicine in Qatar, where he oversaw HR for the launch of a $7.8 billion hospital.
As Interim Director of People at Barts Health NHS Trust, he was pivotal in leading the Trust through a complex turnaround, organisational restructure and successful financial recovery programme.
At the UK Department of Health, he advised to Ministerial level and was responsible for the development and delivery of the first national counter-terrorism initiative in health - a field he went on to Co-Chair across the European Union for over 5 years with EU-RAN.
A qualified mediator from the London School of Mediation and an independent panel member at the International Mediation Institute, The Hague, Chris combines accountability with independent expertise in workforce investigation.
